Yuck, Cafeteria food here is really gross. It's one of the reasons that I moved out of the dorms at the beginning of this year--I couldn't stand the food! There's not many healthy options and everything is ridiculously priced for what you get

I cant believe how much they over price the very sub par food here at the cafeteria. Also the cafeteria workers always get your meals mixed up, one day they will over price you and the next you will prettymuch get a free meal.

The food in the Cafe is horrible. How they think it's good is beyond me. The food is cold half the time and I am always wondering if it is fully cooked or trying to figure out what I am eating. Oh and yea the prices are too high for the low quality.

Indeed. The campus seems to be interested in getting students to work in the food service - why not have a body of students to certify the value of cafeteria food. There seems to be a lot of 'talk' for how much action there is. Some courses include entire curricula on how to better the campus, and always rave about Styrofoam plates and the like. Obviously, nothing has been done to this day.

Of course, I am more concerned about my stomach. There are numerous guides out there on how to cook healthily while still spending less money. Food is a drug, and while many campuses have drug programs, I don't see why a college as "liberal" as our own can't make strides in the food we serve in order to decrease obesity and increase energy and endurance. For most of the week - and mostly excluding the weekend - there are decent options in the cafeteria, but it would be trivial eliminate the poorer options.

The options that seem consistently good are: the subs, the pasta, and the vegetables at "The Market." I am not in the roost enough to comment, but I can assure you the chicken and pizza are of low quality.
